Taken a few years ago when the first annual The Light in Winter art installation was launched at Federation Square in Melbourne’s CBD. This is a forest of vertical lights that changed colour as people walked past. Set to function at dusk. The iconic dome of Flinders Street Station is in the background. Taken with my cellphone in non-flash mode. Each year’s installation is unique.

Ezard is a fine dining restaurant located in the basement of the boutique Adelphi Hotel in Flinders Lane, Melbourne CBD. It is named after the owner and head chef and although I have not had the experience of dining there, I here nothing but praise. I’m feeling inclined, in fact, to see if I can book a table for Christmas Day lunch. I’ll let you know the verdict, if I’m successful in getting in.
