Brunetti — Making the coffee — © 2008-2012 jmnowak, all rights reserved
Brunetti at the City Square in Melbourne’s CBD. An iconic landmark serving fine cakes and Italian coffee; can’t beat it! This man seems to be waiting for instructions, just off to the left….
I work with a coffee company here in Ecuador! (ESCoffee) Nice photo! Z
Thank you…I can see this as a classic B+W image of the cultural life of, say, Italy in the 1930s. Is ESCoffee’s coffee delicious? You must enjoy many samplers.
ES is proud of not only their coffees, but also the growers that supply those precious coffee beans. The CEO, Miguel Rendon, for giving credit to those growers and putting them into the spotlight on his website. Here’s a sample: http://www.escoffee.com/paginas/caficultores/porfirio-sanchez.html
I just visited the other site and gave the ‘zig zag steps’ a close inspection. That’s an amazing photo!

I’ve had a look at their site. They seem to be doing very well for such a small plantation (4 hectares isn’t very big, as plantations go) and I like that very modern building in Guiyaquil with those beautiful trees (are they Jacaranda/lilac trees?). BTW, the only Ecuadorian I have met, in the past, a lovely person, came from Guiyaquil….extraordinarily small world! Good luck with Brunetti’s, hope you are able to sell them something. ;oD
